Are you new to SCI and want to get more familiar with how it works? Are you preparing for your first ICM? Or just curious about how international organisations work?
This course, which is inspired by the new edition of SCI’s handbook SCI Moving Forward, is a tool to learn more about SCI’s structure and functions and to support new delegates to ICM (SCI’s General Assembly) with procedural knowledge. It is suitable for anyone, regardless of how much you know about SCI.
The first module gives an overview on what SCI is and how it works, and shows you where you can get involved depending on your interests. The second module offers procedural support and a better understanding of the decision-making spaces in our network. It could be interesting for anyone who is curious about how decisions are made in a global network.
This online course was created in the scope of SCI’s Operating Grant under the EU’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV), Partnership on Peace 2025 (101194475).
