Mandala

Each person’s life is like a mandala – a vast, limitless circle. We stand in the center of our own circle, and everything we see, hear and think forms the mandala of our life.Buddhist Nun Pema Chodron

Mandala is a Sanskrit word, meaning Sacred Circle. It represents spiritual connection to the innermost self, a symbol for completeness and healing using sacred geometry, symmetry and harmony.

We can notice many Mandala shapes in nature: flowers, shells, wavelets, tree trunk cuts, fruits, vegetables, and many more…

The repeating elements create a visual protecting frame, slow the brain waves and move the brain into alpha waves, the frequency of the brain in deep meditation. The move into this frequency allows a dive into the soul, and creates a sensation of calmness, wholeness and inner peace.

For complete meditative enjoyment, it is recommended to start coloring from the center towards the edges.

It was very nice taking some time for myself, trying to read my thoughts and feelings and stopping the rush of the day
