3. PROJECT INFORMATION

This online course was created in the framework of “Grassroots Change: Volunteering, leadership and emancipation through hands-on work and mentoring”, an Erasmus+ project (Capacity Building in the field of youth) started in 2019, which involved 8 organisations belonging to the International Voluntary Service Movement (IVS) from Europe and Africa: VWAN (Nigeria), AJOV (Mozambique), SAVWA (South Africa), ZWA (Zimbabwe), SCI Italy, SCI Catalunya, KVT Finland and SCI International.

The project aims to improve the quality of short and long term voluntary projects in the Sub-Saharan African and European regions, creating a positive impact on volunteers, organizations and the local communities in all countries where the voluntary activities take place.
