No War Anywhere

Welcome to the course Speak Up for Peace, which is part of the No War Anywhere! project!. This initiative brings together young people across Europe to explore alternatives to militarism and build tangible skills for antimilitarist advocacy and activism.

In 2022, we witnessed worrying escalations of war around the world. As a historic peace organization, Service Civil International (SCI) is taking a stand against militarism and its devastating impacts. Through the No War Anywhere! project, we aim to strengthen antimilitarist education within SCI and join forces with allied networks pursuing nonviolence and peace. This initiative also intends to improve communication and cooperation within SCI’s diverse global network.

About This Course

In this course, we want to share knowledge and tools for effective communication and advocacy for peace and antimilitarism, with the aim of building capacity for anyone who wants to disseminate their peace and antimilitarist project or message.

The course is designed for three main audiences:

SCI staff and volunteers seeking to strengthen communication capacities.
Participants in SCI training who want to undertake local antimilitarist actions.
Youth engaged in peace activism across Europe.
